NF
Nathan John Feuerstein (born March 30 1991), known by his initials NF (stylized as IF) is an American singer, rapper as well as songwriter, record producer and songwriter. Two EPs have been released I'm Free (2012)[3]and a self-titled EP with Capitol CMG in 2014. Mansion was his first major label release. His second studio record, Therapy Session (April 22, 2016) reached the top spot at 12 on the US Billboard 200. His albums have been awarded numerous distinctions, such as the Gospel Music Association Dove Award (Therapy Session) for Rap/Hip Hop Albums of the Year. Perception climbed to number one in the United States in 2017, and the third single, "Let You down" made it to number 12 on the U.S. Billboard 200. Billboard Hot 100 and a top ten hit in the world. The same commercial success was achieved with his follow up The Search (2019). Feuerstein stated that rap music was a means of escape for his family in his early years. Feuerstein recorded his songs using the Karaoke Machine and recorded his instrumentals on one mic and his raps in the other. Feuerstein self-released his debut studio album Moments on November 29, 2010 under his real name. He dropped "Alone" as his first single on August 2, 2011. Brooke Griffith was the songwriter and producer for the song. Xist Music discovered Feuerstein's work in 2012 and became intrigued by his music. The artist released his first extended play, I'm Free on May 2nd 2012. Profitt produced it. The tracklist included nine tracks, including "Alone". The EP also featured an exclusive version with Sean Simmonds of "Alone". Xist had announced the release of the self-titled extended play, NF, but Feuerstein was unable to work with the label due to a dispute, and production of NF was delayed. NF still featured a song with Shuree William "Only One", on the label’s compilation album Move Vol 1 The single was released, "Beautiful Addiction", November 4 in 2013. Profitt was heard again on the track, along with singing by Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
