Jessica Alba

Jessica Marie Alba is an American actress and businesswoman. She began her television and film career at the age of 13 in Camp Nowhere, and The Secret World of Alex Mack (1994). When she was 19 she ascended to prominence as the lead actress of Dark Angel (2000–2002), for the which she received a Golden Globe nomination. Her big screen breakthrough was with the film Honey (2003). She soon became a Hollywood actress and has appeared in many hits in box office films which include Fantastic Four (2005). Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Good Luck Chuck (2007). The Eye (2008). Valentine's Day (2010). Little Fockers (2010). Mechanic: Resurrection (2016). [9] She is a frequent collaborator of director Robert Rodriguez, having starred in Sin City (2005), Machete (2010), Spy Kids: All the Time in the World (2011), Machete Kills (2013), and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014). Alba starred as L.A. Finest in Spectrum's action-packed series. Alba was co-founder of The Honest Company in 2011, a company that sells personal, household, and baby products. Magazines such as Men's Health and Vanity Fair have also put Alba in their lists. Jessica Marie Alba was the daughter of Catherine Louisa Jensen and Mark David Alba. She was born in Pomona on 28 April 1981. Her mother has Danish, Welsh and German heritage. The grandparents of her paternal grandfather were born in California as children of Mexican immigrants. She has a younger brother named Joshua. Her third cousin, once removed, is writer Gustavo Arellano. The father of her Air Force career took the family to Biloxi, Mississippi, and Del Rio, Texas, before returning to Claremont, California, when she was nine years old. Alba described her family's conservative nature as a traditional, Catholic as well as a Latin American family. However, she describes her own liberal views since she's declared herself a feminist from the age of five.
